January Pollinator Project Meeting

Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.

We will be potting up scrub oak tree acorns and native plant cuttings including Toyon cuttings and will view Leslie's water catchment area and will witness her progress in creating a Riparian Habitat for wildlife. All are welcome!  RSVP to Leslie U.

The Poway Valley Garden Club is honored to present a lively workshop featuring highly sought-after motivational speaker Robin Pokorski of the California and National Garden Clubs. It will be a highly interactive workshop. We will have fun and lots of laughs while learning by doing!   Breakfast, drinks, and snacks will be provided. Following the workshop, lunch on your own. Thehistorical Hamburger Factory is next door.

Lake Poway Rose Pruning

Thursday, January 26th, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  (formerly Jan 20)

Where: Lake Poway Rose Garden. Please contact to Faye M. if questions.

Join us in our annual pruning of the Lake Poway Rose Garden. Bring a pair of bypass clippers, gloves, and a rake. 

Update:   The event will now take place on Thursday, January 26th from 10:00 - 12:00 at the Lake Poway Park rose garden.  Our guest speaker and demonstrator will be Gary Bulman, a Master Rosarian from the San Diego Rose Society.   Bring pruning shears and gloves, but feel free to come just to observe and learn about pruning roses.
